Night Time Stories (2026) UK
Alexis Taylor remains one of the UK’s most distinctive singer-songwriters, both solo and as part of pop heavyweights Hot Chip. Following Paris In The Spring, this release keeps that open-hearted spirit in view, pairing emotionally direct writing with music that feels bright, loose and sharply contemporary.
Drawing on leftfield pop, country, elegant disco-house and Vangelis-inspired atmospheres, it balances weighty themes with a light touch. With contributions from The Blessed Madonna and Pat Alvarez, plus remixes from Sasha, Solid Wall and Jack Lever, it opens the material out in fresh directions.
