Taken in tandem with revisiting their early penchant for quirky, fuzzy pseudo-rock (‘Margerine Rock’, ‘Bop Scotch’) and incorporating new influences like dub and groovy post-punk, Margerine Eclipse is sort of like Stereolab’s whole aesthetic in miniature.
